What is gum recession?
It is when the gums pull away from the tooth. Which then expose more tooth than the normal. When this occurs the tooth is more prone to getting a cavity, sensitivity and even becoming loose. In this case a gum graft surgery will be needed.

The gum graft procedure is a surgery. It involves taking tissue from the roof of the mouth and then grafted to the area of recession.
What are the causes?
Excessive brushing, periodontal disease, trauma and position of teeth. If gone untreated tooth lose can occur.
