There are many things that can be causing inflammation in our bodies. We need to be looking at what we are eating. Two of the top foods that most people eat on a daily basis can be causing major problems for the body. Gluten and dairy both play a role in how inflamed our bodies are.
What is gluten? Gluten is protein that is in certain grains. In its flour form, it’s used in pasta, breads and many other foods. There is also gluten found in several personal care products such as shampoo and toothpaste. Unfortunately gluten over time has now been genetically modified to make our breads bigger and fluffier. Since this modification to the gluten protein is not from the original plants like our grandparents ate, we are now having issues with our guts, immune systems and inflammation which is leading to auto immune diseases.
Dairy is found in many foods containing milk or cheese. Dairy can cause more harm than good for many people. It is highly inflammatory which can cause digestive issues such as bloating, constipation or diarrhea. Congestion and enlarged tonsils are also a result in the consumption of dairy products.
